After giving up on running the bootcamp up in North Wales
We decided to move down to Southampton where Holly is from
On our first day, I found a studio to work out of & after just a few weeks, I was full 💪
But that itch was there to find my own place
As great as it was working out of someone else’s studio
It just wasn’t my own, I couldn’t do the things I wanted, so I began the search
After months of…
👎 too expensive
👎 too small
👎 too far away
👎 rejected change of use
I finally found one 🤩
I was scrolling on Facebook when I saw a post in a group
A lady was wanting someone to take over her lease
The studio looked perfect
✅ perfect size
✅ parking
✅ decent price
So I messaged her & booked a viewing
The next day, I jumped in the car to go visit
& the studio was perfect!
I said I’d take it, sent her a £1k deposit & it was mine
But there was a small issue that I haven’t got to yet 😬
I jumped in the car to drive back & phoned Holly to give her the good news
Ready???
Okay, we were living in Southampton
& this studio was in…
Yes, as you may have guessed: Cardiff 🏴
I had only ever been to this city once
I knew nobody & nothing about the city 😆
Holly did know I was going to look at a studio, but I forgot to mention this studio was a 2-hour drive away 🫣
So here’s kind of how the conversation went…
🗣 Holly, I’ve finally found a studio & have taken it. The only thing is, it’s in Cardiff
& that’s how we moved to Cardiff
