Running ads on META can be a game changer for your fitness business
Twice I moved to a new location, knew nobody, and launched a fitness business where I could step away… all because of running META Ads 💪
Running the ads and generating the leads is just one part of the process 🤓
You then need to chase those leads and make those sales 👊
But if you get your ads set up wrong, then a lack of leads could be your least worry
Especially if you are spending 20/30/40 £$€ a day 😬 it can quickly add up and cost you financially
So here are the 3 must-dos we follow when running ads for our fitness business owner clients 💪
1️⃣ Max 20 Year Age Gap 👊
The reason for this is super simple…
What a 20-year-old wants is very different from what a 60-year-old would want
Yes, they both might be wanting to lose weight, but their reasons, their circumstances, their lives are very different
Which means when you write the ads copy, having set age ranges, allows you to speak much clearer to your target audience
If you do work with a wider range in age, then simply split those audiences into groups of 20-year gaps
For example, 20-40, 41-60
2️⃣ Separate Genders
This follows on exactly the same as the age range gap
Both men and women see ads very differently
And this can get even more specific depending on your services
Putting super fit men with their shirts off can quickly put off ladies who lack body confidence and fear stepping into the gym
By separating the genders too, you are able to create copy specific to each audience to make your ads copy more dedicated
3️⃣ Get Very Specific On Max Radius
Get this one wrong, and you will just be throwing money away
And what I mean by this is simple…
If you drop a pin on the map and target prospects within a 20-mile radius, but your fitness business is in the middle of the city centre
Then you are just going to be throwing your money away as they will never travel in
Even just going a mile or two out can just waste a load of money with leads coming in but them not wanting to travel in
Work closely on the radius, look at the maps, study the roads and driving times
