You see all the ads about getting your fitness business to 10k per month, maybe 20k per month or more
And on the outside, it sounds amazing
I used to get sucked into all this before 🤩
The thought of going from 2-3k a month in my fitness business to suddenly doing 10k
It would be life-changing right?
Hmmm 🤔 this is where the whole: let’s get you to 10k is all BULLSHIT!
10k, that number advertised, is considered to be the income of the business
NOT the profit!
As your business develops & grows, your expenses are going to grow
Doing 10k per month also now makes your business VATable
Meaning the profit of your business & your personal salary start taking some big hits
Don’t get me wrong, when we hit our first 10k month with FitHub30, I was super pumped
Until I saw the outgoings
2 staff members, rent, business rates, plus all the other fixed & variable costs of running a business
I think the profit after everything paid was a few £100 😆
We only really started making money when the business was closing in on £15k per month
But this required a lot of clients = 150
2 full-time coaches
And a lot more
Yet, if I changed my business model & made a few price changes
I could have been doing £7-8k per month
With a lot less outgoings & a lot more profit
Don’t get suckered in by big numbers unless they are talking about profit 💰
You got this 💪
David 🙂
