When running paid ads, especially on META, there are a few key numbers you need to track 💪
1️⃣ Cost per lead is generally the number we want to look at
This is the amount it costs you to generate a contact’s details
2️⃣ The second, and possibly more important than the cost per lead, is the cost per sale
This is the amount of money you have spent to generate a sale
These two are the big numbers most people will shout about
But there’s one key number that reveals so much more about the ad
This is one of the key numbers we analyse for our clients to know if the ad is going to perform well
This number quickly tells us if the prospects seeing the advert actually like the advert, which means…
Do they like:
❤️ the offer
❤️ the creative
❤️ the copy
If this key metric is high, it means the audience does not like one of the three
This will then push your cost per lead up and, in turn, push your cost per sale up
Now, before I reveal this very unique metric
I wanted to mention that if you need daily leads, leads that want to be booked in and sold to

Anyway… this key metric you need to track is the
3️⃣ Cost per click
If the cost per click is high, like more than £1.50
It shows you that the audience you are targeting does not like one of the three things
Pushing up the cost of everything else
And as a bonus point on this…
If your cost per click is LOW, but your cost per lead is HIGH
Then this shows you that your landing page needs work 👊
